Golf on the Llŷn Peninsula
There are three quality 18-hole golf courses (plus a number of 9-holes and a driving range) all within 25 minutes drive from Ty’n Rhyd:
Nefyn and District GC
Having two spectacular cliff-top courses, the ‘Old’ and ‘New’, with 27 holes in all to challenge even the most experienced player. Nefyn is a firm favourite, where you can play breathtaking holes, driving across bays and then searching for lost balls near to the Ty Coch pub, down a sandy path from the course to the beach at Porth Dinllaen. A golfer’s dream!
Pwllheli, with its unique part links, part parkland course, is located on the south facing coastline of Cardigan Bay. With fantastic views stretching along miles of coastline to the mountains of Snowdonia, it’s an ideal location for visiting golfers.
With stunning views over the islands of St Tudwal, and across Abersoch beach to the far side of Cardigan Bay, the golf club at Abersoch is one to put on your North Wales golfing list. Offering a challenging mix of 18 holes on traditional links and parkland, the course is a must for golfers of all abilities.
